Basic shot types

(EWS)Extreme wide shot:
(EWS)Extreme wide shots like that are usually used as establishing shots. They set up a scene's setting, and show the location where it happenns. Sometimes they can also show famous landmarks to refer to a particular city, or panoramic views to refer to a particular part of the world. They can also be used to create a certain atmosphere. Establishing shots often dont focus our attention on a particular subject, but show us the environment it is in.

The subject is visible (barely), but the emphasis is still on placing him in his environment.Still the importance is given to the environment where the subject is.

Difference between a wide shot, a full shot and a long shot.
A wide shot, for me, means you see most of the whole space.

A long shot would be farther away from the space means that there will be more space between the subjects (women and Telescope)

A full shot would be like a full body shot of a person, or object (showing all of the person or object).

A medium full shot is the shot that crops just below the knees and shows the subject full
